Fish On Lures Charity Tournament

Profits Benefit Mote Marine Laboratory - Redfish Enhancement Programs

With the economy as poor as it has been we were going to take the year off from this event, but because of popular demand we have decided to run a smaller version of the tournament this year. We have also instituted a few changes to the format to make it easier for more people to fish.
 

Photo catch and release. Photo must be turned in by Sunday April 11 at 5:00:00 PM at the weigh-in station. We will not accept any photos even (1) second after the deadline.

Divisions:
Speckled trout
Redfish
Misc. (3) Fish Combo

Misc. 3 fish combo: You need 3 different species to take this event. Winner will be determined by the total length of the 3 fish entered. 3 species will supersede 2 species even if the total of the 2 species is longer than the 3 species. In the event that only 1 or 2 species are turned in then it will go to the longest 2, etc.

** Fish NOT eligible for Misc. (3) Fish Combo: Shark, Snook, (we need to let them recover) and Stingray.  Any other species is okay to use, including lizard fish, catfish and whatever else you can round up.

Tournament will start :

Friday, April 9 at 8:00 pm

and will end

Sunday, April 11 at 5:00 pm
 

Online Tournament: In addition to our regular 

tournament we are adding an online event this 

year. 

Fish can be caught anywhere in USA

Divisions:

Speckled trout 

Redfish 

Fresh Water Bass

Misc. (3) Fish Combo

Division costs will be the same as the local 

tournament only divisions for freshwater have 

been added.

Exceptions to the local event rules are as follows:

Online Specific Rules:

• You must have emailed photos sent by 

  11:59 pm on Sunday April 11th. I will use 

  the computer generated time of your email 

  as the time sent. Email me prior to the event 

  to verify the time stamp so there is no 

  confusion.
  
  

• After you have registered online call or 

  email for your tournament number. This 

  number must be placed in the actual photo, 

  not added to your email.

Registration is from 5pm - 7pm

Entry Fees:

• Each division is a 25.00 entry fee

• You can enter all 3 divisions if you like

• You can win (1) time in each division entered into

Payout will be as follows:
75% of pot payout this year (25% to Mote Marine less 3-5% for expenses)

Special Pompano

The largest pompano caught, regardless of division, will receive a Silly Willy Lure Kit
