Online Pompano Tournament

Profits Benefit Mote Marine Laboratory

We will have one of these tournaments each quarter throughout the year. They will be run just like our Stinky Joe's online tournaments and with an entry fee of only $10 there is no reason why everyone should not join in the fun! The payout will be $8 per entry and $1 of each entry goes to Mote Marine Laboratory.

The pompano tournament will start on April 1, 2010 go through June 30th, 2010 and you get to submit

your best 3 pompano.

Fish can be caught anywhere in the USA

Tournament Rules:

You must have emailed photos sent by 11:59 pm (EST) on Wednesday, June 30th. I will use the computer

generated time of your email as the time sent. Email me prior to the event to verify the time stamp so

there is no confusion.

Your 'Order Number' from registering online will be your tournament number. This number must be

placed in the actual photo, not added to your email.

Photo should be taken directly over top of fish, do not hold your camera on angle. We know the tricks.

Entire fish must show in photo and we must be able to read the ruler. No Handmade rulers allowed.

Pompano will be measured to the inside fork.

Fish must be caught with artificial lures, live or dead bait.

You can use commercial scents but no tipping with shrimp or other natural type of bait or household

food.

Fish must be caught using conventional fishing tackle. (1) rod in the water per person at a time.

No netting or gaffing of fish.

Ties will be determined by first fish picture turned in.

Entry Fee:

$10.00 entry fee - $8 per entry payback and $1 of each entry goes to Mote Marine Laboratory. The last $1 goes to help cover fees and expenses associated with the tournaments.
