Stinky Joe's "Fish On" Lures Trout Tournament Friday march 21, & Saturday, March 22, 2008
Stinky Joe's "Fish On" Lures Trout Tournament is a Catch and Release Photo Tournament with profits to benefit Mote Marine Laboratory Redfish Enhancement. Entry fee for anglers 16 and older is $65.00 kids under 15 are Free. $1,000.00 First prize for the largest measuring trout. Sign up early and get a free t-shirt produced by Get Smoked. you will recieve some of the baits to use at the Captains meeting. ( You can purchase more) see rules for more info on this. all general division entries will recieve a free Dehooker which we will show you how to use so you will find it a necessary tool and keep your hands free of fish slime in the future.
the weigh in we will provide some great barbeque from the Ozona Pig. bring extra money to purchase raffle tickets as we will have a great big table full of raffle prizes. Lets not forget the silent auction. some great donations are coming in for this too. Remember this is a charity event to help ensure that the Redfish hatchery keep working on their projects of enhansing our fish stocks throughout. Best of all we are going to pay out some random placings. we will place numbers ending after the last payout spot up to the last angler checking in. a number will be drawn and a $50.00 payout will be given to that angler. we plan to do this at least 3 times depending on General entries. for example if number 37 is drawn then we will pay the 37th placing angler $50.00. so come on and join in this fun event and help raise some money for a great cause.

Captain Joe will be doing the seminar this month at Osprey Bay Outdoors. "Winter fishing" is the topic, let's find out where to find the big trout, the redfish, "Can I catch them in the winter"? Snook are hard to catch in the winter, where to find them. Don't forget we will have Free Hungry Howies Pizza and Captain Joe will be giving away some of his almost famous "Fish On" Lures Product. We have 1 more Eupro rod to give away, so be sure to come by.

I found the guy!!! The one with his secret tactics and secret recipe to catch the huge Sheepshead. Mr Sheepshead himself will be by to help you with this. February and March are the best times to get big Sheepshead so be sure to stop by and learn his tactis. Remember we will have Free Hungry Howies Pizza and we will be giving away some of Captain Joe's famous "Fish On" Products. We may even be able to get eupro to give away a rod.
