Your Edje hook was no doubt a key component to our victory in the HT Cup this weekend! During the week of pre-fishing I missed several fish using some other brand of hooks. On the final day before the tournament I switched to a 5/0 Edje hook and the results blew me away, not only did I land more fish but I was also getting more bites!

I know its sounds crazy to attribute more bites to a hook but what I realized was that the almost clear soft plastics we were using to imitate the grass shrimp the fish were feeding on appeared more life like with the Edje hook. The painted weight on the hook looked just like the dark spot in the head of the grass shrimp. This combination will no doubt be a staple in my arsenal from now on!

Hey Joe,

Just want to let you know that we were able to finish on top this weekend in the IFA Redfish Tour event. We were prefishing on Friday and I was using the Edje hook working jerks baits on the flats and under the mangrove. My partner Kurt switched it up and started to use the 1/8 jig head (other brand) and he stuck a few fish and also lost two fish because of a hook set issue.

On tournament day we decide that we could not afford to loss any fish. Because of using the Edje we know that your hooks are sharp and we have
never had an issue hooking a fish with the Edje hook. We decided that we would try out the Joe Jig that you make. On tournament day you need to stick to a plan, and never using the Joe Jigs that you make we did not know what to expect.

I would just like to thank you for not taking short cuts in the making of your product. On Saturday we had a chance at 6 fish and all six were hooked using your Joe Jigs and all hooks sets were perfect. There was never a point where we ever felt that we were going to loose a fish due to a poor hook set. I just thought that you would like to hear that your product is working great and helped in getting us to the top this weekend.
